Cristiano Ronaldo has proven himself over and over again as one of the most elite goal scorers in footballing history, the Portuguese who already has broken and matched a lot of records added another remarkable landmark to his glittering career as he matched retired Iranian footballer Ali Daei’s men international goal scoring record of 109 goals.
Ronaldo grabbed two goals from the spot against reigning world champions France to match this record and also became the footballer with most goals at the Euros and the World Cup combined.
Ronaldo can now set his sights on making a new record as he has been involved in 6 goals (5 goals and 1 assist) in 3 matches at the Euros this year, at 36years he is showing no signs of slowing down soon.
