EURO 2020: What to expect,Teams to look out for,Groups and Fantasy.

The European National Championship is underway with a unique style and lots of exciting fixtures to look out for, the tournament is competed for by 24 teams in the group stages, with 16 teams making it to the knockout phases after playing 3 matches each.The prestigious tournament will be played across 11 cities and stadiums in countries all across Europe.:
Holders, Portugal will be looking to defend their title but face stern competition from World Cup Champions France and 2014 World Cup winners Germany and Hungary in the so called ‘Group of Death’, football fans can sure look forward to exciting fixtures from this competition.
Other teams to look out for include: Belgium’s golden generation, England’s star-studded team, An Italy team looking very strong at the moment undefeated since failing to qualify for the 2018 World Cup. Croatia who gave every football fan an unbelievable run at the World Cup will be one of the teams to look out for too.

GAMES SO FAR: Italy played the first match of the tournament with an exciting 3-0 win over Turkey, Wales and Switzerland played out a 1-1 draw to end the first round of fixtures in Group A, Belgium also began their campaign with an impressive 3-0 win over Russia, with starman Romelu Lukaku bagging two goals, Finland’s first win in a major tournament was over-shadowed by a horrific life threatening incident to Denmark’s Christian Eriksen who is now recovering, as it stands, Belgium top Group B after the first round of matches. Fixtures in Group C saw Austria claim a 3-1 victory over North Macedonia while The Netherlands beat Ukraine 3-2 in a very entertaining fixture. Group D’s matches saw England claim a nerve-racking 1-0 victory over Croatia, while Czech Republic outplayed Scotland to claim a vital 2-0 win. Group E first fixture saw Slovakia beat Poland with a late strike to win 2-1, while Spain and Sweden played out a goalless draw in a match dominated by the Spanish national team.

Group F’s will see holders Portugal face Hungary, while France go up against Germany in what promises to be a thrilling encounter.
